Sapphic Cinema Social Club is a high-energy, quarterly event series designed to bring the Bay’s vibrant queer community together around cinema. This inclusive film club is a space to decompress, connect, and celebrate queer culture, and 10% of the box office goes to support a local queer org every time!

Events start with a pre-show mixer, then the screening. After the show, we gather down the street at Mother Bar to keep the energy going.

As one of the oldest continually operating community theaters in the country, the Roxie has a legacy of radical, independent, and queer storytelling. Partnering with Frankly Speaking Films is a natural and powerful extension of that legacy.
